Terahertz in de praktijk

Bederf van verpakt voedsel is een probleem waarmee elke voedselproducent wordt geconfronteerd. Een niet-destructieve detectiemethode ontwikkelen om ontluikende kwaliteitsvermindering van verpakt voedsel op te sporen is een echte uitdaging. Tijdens dit event geven experts uit Frankrijk, Vlaanderen en Wallonië inzicht in actuele ontwikkelingen rond de uitdagingen op het gebied van voedselverpakking en voedselverspilling. Mogelijke oplossingen die gebruik maken van Terahertz-sensortechnologie zullen worden gepresenteerd. Het evenement wordt afgesloten met een demonstratie van de sensor die is ontwikkeld als onderdeel van het INTERREG project Terafood. Naast deze projectresultaten, zullen twee toonaangevende Franse bedrijven die THz-inspectiesystemen ontwikkelen hun recente ontwikkelingen van hun Terahertz-technologie productportfolio presenteren.
