PACK4FOOD is a consortium of companies, the most important Flemish research centers active in the food-packaging interaction field and network organizations. It started in the framework of an IWT-project (VIS-Technological Services).
Pack4Food gives bilateral scientific advices to support companies ininnovation through food packaging. In addition, it has an important networkfunction to gather all companies involved in packaging of food. Finally, the development and/or use of innovative food packaging will be stimulated by distribution of acquired and existing knowledge.

A unique international training: food packaging!
The third post-academic training “Food Packaging”, organized by Institute for Continuing Education (University of Ghent) and Pack4Food NPO, will start on February 28, 2013. The training is offered as “blended learning”: online video lessons are combined with live contact sessions after each module.

From the 1st of Oktober 2011, Pack4Food has started with the VIS-traject “Sustainable and functional packaging” with financial suppport from IWT.
